Alton are the first club to book their place in the handicap club team knockout competition for The President's Putter.In their semi final match at home to Kilbirnie Place, the Alton team won the two singles ties and lost the foursomes for a 2 - 1 victory overall.
Alton now await either Caprington or Ayr Dalmilling in the final, which is scheduled to take place at Skelmorlie during Finals day on Sunday 1st September.
