Jack Broun (Turnberry) finished runner up in the recent 72
hole North East District Open at Portlethen GC, played over the weekend of 17th
and 18th August.
Opening rounds of 69 & 66 saw Broun take a five stroke lead
at the half-way stage of the event but closing rounds of 73 & 75 saw him
slip into second place on 283, two shots adrift of Euan McIntosh (Turnhouse).
