Connie Jaffrey (Troon Ladies) lost out narrowly in the opening matchplay round of the 2017 Ladies' British Amateur Championship at Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club on Thursday 15th June.
The newly crowned Scottish Champion was edged out by a single hole in her Thursday morning tie with Elin Esborn (Sweden).
