In DIVISION 2, Ayr Belleisle and Troon St Meddans hold the
top place. Ballochmyle lie in third place following a 6 – 0 result at home to Troon
Welbeck, St Meddans had a 4 – 2 away win at Ballochmyle and a 5 – 1 win at home
to Ayr Belleisle to maintain their hopes.
Troon Welbeck beat Largs 4 – 2 at home whilst Irvine
Ravenspark also maintained their prospects with a narrow 3.5 – 2.5 away win at Largs
recently.
In the other match played recently Ayr Belleisle travelled
up the coast to Largs and returned with a 4.5 =- 1.5 away win.

– 2.5 home win over Troon Portland, though their hopes were dented a little
with a 5.5 – 0.5 defeat in the corresponding return fixture.
Girvan maintained
their challenge with successive home wins, by 4 – 2 over Rowallan Castle and by
3.5 – 2.5 at home to Troon Portland.
In the one other match played recently, Rowallan Castle
played host to Kilbirnie Place, with the spoils being maintained in a 3 – 3 draw.

Moorpark was coupled with a 4 – 2 away result against Crosshouse. .
In the two other matches played recently Largs Routenburn
beat their visitors Brunston castle 4 – 2, only to see their opponents win the
corresponding away match by an identical score of 4 – 2.
