The 36 hole event attracted a large entry with the handicap cut eventually falling at 1.1 at closure of entries.
All those whose handicap index was in excess of 1.1 at the closure date have been automatically refunded their entry fee, with the exception of the following players, who remain on the waiting list meantime, pending any late withdrawals.

The 2025 champion Harvey Broadfoot (Royal Troon) returns to defend the title he won at Troon Lochgreen last year.
The available players returning the 16 best scratch scores in the championship will go forward to contest the Ayrshire Men's Matchplay Championship at Western gailes Golf Club from the 4th to the 7th of May.
The association will also be collecting for our charity partner, Hillhouse, on the day of the competition and it would be very much appreciated if all competitors would consider donating to this worthy local charity when they check in for the competition on the day.
