THE AYRSHIRE JUG - Mixed greensomes knockout championship at the semi-finals stage

The mixed greensomes knockout competition for The Ayrshire Jug has reached the semi-final stage, with the remaining two quarter-final ties being played recently.

The first semi final will see Susan Smith and Roddie Middleton (Loudoun) playing host to Iain & Shirley Campbell (Prestwick St Cuthbert).

The Loudoun pair won their quarter final tie at home to Jean Capes & Brian Fulton (Largs) by one hole while the Prestwick St Cuthbert duo won their home tie against Fran & David Hadden (Kilmarnock Barassie) at the first extra hole.

The ither semi final sees two Loudoun pairings, Scott Gilchrist & Sally Hamilton and Neil & Sheila Kennedy, face off for a place in the final, due to be held during Finals day at Ballochmyle GC on Sunday the 1st of September.
