Colin Watson (Kilmarnock Barassie) beat the Ayrshire Senior Men's Strokeplay champion Raymond Simons (Golf South Ayrshire) by 4 & 3 in the quarter finals and will host Andrew Marshall (Prestwick St Nicholas) in the semi final after Marshall won away to Craig Hillis (Kilmarnock Barassie) in his quarter final tie.
The other semi final will be a repeat of the 2023 final, with title holder Brian Fisher (Largs) at home to 2022 title winner and 2023 runner up Alistair Belford (Prestwick St Nicholas).
Fisher was at home to Stuart Miller (Kilmarnock Barassie) in the quarter finals and won by 3 & 2, while Belford was at home to Henry Thompson (Irvine) and won through at the first extra hole.
The two semi finals are due to be completed by the 7th of August, with the final scheduled to take place at Royal Troon on Friday the 9th of August.
