AYRSHIRE MEN'S CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS - Holder Craig Hamilton ousted in quarter finals

The four semi-finalist in the 2024 Ayrshire Men's Champion of Champions Trophy competition are now confirmed, as the defending champion Craig Hamilton (Ballochmyle) relinquished his title at the quarter final stage.

Aidan Long (Ayr Belleisle) hosted Hamilton in the quarter finals and recorded a notable win with a single hole victory, and will now play Andrew Marshall (Prestwick St Nicholas) in the semi-finals.

Jason Butler (Troon St Meddans) had a 3 & 2 win at home in his quarter final against Calum Nairn (North Beach) and will face former champion Steven McEwan (Caprington) in the other semi-final.

The two semi finals are scheduled to take place at Royal Troon on the evening of Friday the 2nd of August, teeing off from 5.00 p.m.
