Russell briefly led the table until the recent West Kilbride Junior Open competition where a joint secondd place finish was enough to see former Junior Order of Merit winner Jack Broadfoot (Troon Welbeck) regain the lead after completion of ten of the twenty four counting competitions this year.
The next counting ewvents are the Kilmarnock Barassie Junior Open and the Ayrshire Boys' and Ayrshire Gorls' Championships at Annanhill
