AYRSHIRE FOURBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - Malletsheugh pair through to round two

The Malletsheugh pair of Hugh Connor & Steven Capaldi are the latest pair to secure their place in round two of the 2015 Ayrshire Fourball Championship.

A home victory at the 19th over father and son pairing Calum & Kenny Nairn (Prestwick St Nicholas) saw the Malletsheugh team through to a home second round tie against Robert Adams & Iain Pirrie (Abbotsford).

In the outstanding second round ties, George Wallace & Neil Black (Saxone) beat Craig Hodge & David Gibson (Ayr Carrick) whilst Graeme Logan & Derek Patterson (Ayr Belleisle) went through against David McNaught & Brian Robertson (Auchenharvie 88).

The Skelmorlie pairing of James Anderson & Paul Church are the first side through to the last 16 following a victory in the second round by 4 & 3 away to Paul Giffney & John Mulroy (Ardeer)
