Two more pairings have booked their place in the second round of the 2015 Ayrshire Fourball Championships as the closing date for competion of first round ties looms large.
Gary Boyle & George Campbell (Braehead) travelled to meet Gerry Reid & Peter Moir (Alton) in round one and recorded a 4 & 2 away win.
In round two, the Braehead pairing are at home to local rivals John Sloan & Robert Long (Tam O Shanter)
Also through to round two are John & John Wylie (Glacier), courtesy of a 5 & 3 home win over Scott & Neil Cairns (Kilbirnie Place).
The Glacier representatives now travel away from home n round two, against either Rowallan castle or The Chase.
All first round ties are due to be completed by Sunday 12th April. The outstanding first round results at present are :-
