Girls internationalist Connie Jaffrey led the Ayrshire challenge, qualifying in fifth place with rounds of 76 & 78 for a total of 154, leaving her just two shots off the best qualifying score posted by Emily Dalgetty (Glencorse)
Hazel McGarvie on 159 (83 - 76), Katie McGarva on 164 (83 - 81) and Emma Hale on 167 (83 - 84) also qualified comfortably within the cut off mark of 170.
The matchplay stages continue throughout the remainder of the week.
