Playing away from home against Troon Portland in their second round tie, the Kilbirnie team recoirded a 2-1 victory to set up a quarter final tie away to either Kilmarnock Barassie or Ballochmyle
In the first round, Girvan were awarded a walkover by Skelmorlie and now face a second round tie at home to Irvine.
The remaining first round ties between Turnberry and West Kilbride, and Ardeer and Prestwick St Nicholas, are due to be played by the 31st of May.
