AYRSHIRE MEN'S HANDICAP LEAGUE CHAMPIOINSHIP - Ardeer on the brink of claiming final place

Ardeer are in pole position to claim the first spot in the 2024 Ayrshire Men's Handicap League Championship final following their first leg semi-final victory over Golf South Ayrshire GC recently.

Playing at home in the first leg, Ardeer recorded a 5-1 victory over their visitors.

Golf South Ayrshire will now need to repeat their quarter-final performance in the second leg of the semi-final on Tuesday evening, the 20th of August, when they came back from a similar 5-1 defeat in the first leg to win the second leg by 5.5-0.5 to claim a place in the last four.

The other semi final, to be completed by the 25th of August, is between Moorpark and Portmann, with the final scheduled to take place during Finals day at Ballochmyle GC on Sunday the 1st of September.
