AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE - Events edge towards final stages

The various Ayrshire Junior Golf league competitions are approaching the final stages, with the four finals to be held at Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club in the coming weeks.

With a few fixtures still to be completed, the AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP final will be contested by West Kilbride and Turnberry, who topped their respective qualifying sections.

In the UNDER 16 KNOCKOUT TROPHY competition, Prestwick St Nicholas had a 3-1 home win over Turnberry to set up a semi-final clash at home to Prestwick St Cuthbert, with the winners going forward to play Troon Welbeck in the final.

In the WALLACE THORNTON TROPHY Turnberry play Troon Welbeck in the semi-finals with the winner going forward to play Kilmarnock Barassie in the final.

In the AYRSHIRE JUNIOR CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS competition, Ryan Kennedy (Loudoun) plays Scott newman (Ayrshire Boys Champion) in the semi-finals, while Finlay watt (West Kilbride) booked his place in the final with a 4&2 semi-final win over Connor Wills (Ayrshire Boys Matchplay Champion).
