AYRSHIRE HANDICAP LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP - Chase for semi final places extremely close

The chase for the semi final places in the 2018 Ayrshire handicap League Championship is hotting up in three of the four sections, with a number of teams still in contention to reach the last four.

In SECTION A, Braehead still lead, just ahead of  Moorpark, Royal Troon and Ayr Dalmilling.

Royal Troon's hopes were dented following a 5-1 defeat at Loudoun whilst Kilmarnock Barassie also set Moorpark's campaign back with a 4 - 2 home win over their visitors recently.

In SECTION B, Beith joined Auchenharvie 88 at the top of the tabel following a 3-3 draw with their visitors from Prestwick St Cuthbert, whilst Auchenharvie lost out by 4-2 on their visit to play Largs Routenburn.

At the foot of the table Drongan and Stewarton fought out a 3-3 draw recently whilst Annanhill boosted their position with a 5 - 1 home win over Drongan.
