Rowallan Castle have booked their place in the semi finals of the Ayrshire Handicap League Championship
In SECTION A, Braehead lead the way from Royal Troon and Ayr
Dalmilling with only a few fixtures still to take place.
A 4 – 2 defeat by Troon Merchants, at Troon, was tempered by a 3.5 – 2.5 win on their visit
to Kilmarnock Barassie but the Dalmilling qualification hopes were all but
ended when they suffered a crushing 5 – 1 defeat at home to Braehead.

In SECTION B, Three clubs ar locked together at the top of the section, with any one of five clubs still with a realistic chance of grabbing the semi final place.
In recent matches Prestwick St Cuthbert had a 3.5 – 2.5 win at Largs Routenburn, whilst Auchenharvie maintained their challenge with a 4.5 – 1.5 home win against Irvine Ravenspark, as did Troon Welbeck with a 3 – 3 draw at Irvine Ravenspark .

In SECTION C, Ballochmyle and Kilbirnie are locked together
at the top of the table, following Kilbirnie Place’s 3.5 – 2.5 win at home to
their closest challengers from Ballochmyle and Ballochmyle’s 5 – 1 home win
over Drongan,
Annanhill moved up into third place with a 6 – 0 home win
over Sewarton recently, followed by a slim 3.5 – 2.5 win at Home to Troon
Portland.
