AYRSHIRE FOURBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - Three more first round results posted

The results of a further three first round ties in the 2019 Ayrshire Fourball Championship have been posted this weekend.

Halbert Oliver & James McCulloch (Caprington) edged through by a single hole against their visitors Ian Gray & Billy Murdoch (The Chase) to set up a second round tie at home to Colin Booth & Kenny Marshall (West Kilbride) who received a walkover from their first round opponents David Heron & Robert Oliphant (Girvan)

Also through are Alan Glass & Andrew Dunlop (Prestwick St Cuthbert) who crushed their visitors Andy McFarlane & Tom Maxwell (Irvine Ravenspark) by 6 & 5 in their opening round tie. The St Cuthbert pair will be at home to either Crosshouse or Troon Welbeck in round two.

The remaining six first round ties are due to be completed by Sunday 21st April.
