WEST OF SCOTLAND UNDER 18 INTER COUNTY LEAGUE - Defeat for Ayrshire in final match of the season

The Ayrshire Under 18 were defeated in their final match of the 2015 West Of Scotland inter county league on Sunday 6th September, going down by 5 - 3 to Lanarkshire at Skelmorlie.

With Ayrshire out of the title race, and regular players unavailable due to a clash with two of the Ayrshire Junior Golf League finals, the opportunity arose to bring new players into the team for the first time.

Ayrshire were behind from the start, due to the late call off by one of the team due to illness, leaving only seven matches taking to the course.

Despite the early setback, the Ayrshire side fought all the way and the match result was still in the balance right to the final tie on the course.
