The finals of the four Ayrshire Junior Golf League events take place this month at Ballochmyle Golf Club, with the Under 16 Knockout Trophy and Wallace Thornton Trophy finals first on Sunday 6th September.
The League Championship and Champion Of Champions finals were originally scheduled for Sunday 13th September but will now be played a week later, on Sunday 20th September. On both days, the finals begin at 2.00 p.m.
The Under 16 Knockout Trophy final on Sunday 6th September will feature host club Ballochmyle, who were runjners up in the same event last year, and Ayr Belleisle.
In the semi finals Ballochmyle travelled to Irvine and recorded a 3 - 1 win whilst Ayr Belleisle had a home win, by the same score, over Troon Welbeck.
In the Wallace Thornton Trophy final, also on Sunday 6th September, title holders irvine will face Kilmarnock (Barassie).
In the semi finals, Irvine and Loudoun fought out 2 - 2 draws both at home and away, with Irvine edging into the final by virtue of three points on the countback over individual ties.
Kilmarnock (Barassie) beat Ayr Belleisle 3.5 - 0.5 at home in the semi final and secured a 2 - 2 draw away from home to book their place in the final.
On Sunday 20th September the League Championship final will be a repeat of last year, with defending champions Kilmarnock (Barassie) facing Ayr Belleisle once again.
Graeme Greer (Prestwick St Nicholas) is through to the Champion Of Champions final following a 4 & 3 win away from home in the semi final against Robert Clark (Ballochmyle).
In the final, Greer will face either 2014 Ayrshire Boys Champion Jack Thomas of Irvine or Jordan Fraser (Ayr Belleisle).
