Turnberry made it three successive league title on Sunday, 13th September, when they defeated West Kilbride at Turnberry by 5 - 1 to snatch the title from Ayr Belleisle by the narrowest of margins of tie difference, after both teams finished on 28 points.Having won the Division 4 title in 2013 and the third division crown last year, the Turnberry team went into the match knowing that only a win by a large margin would give them the title, and comfortable wins in five of the six ties gave them a 5 - 1 victory to match Ayr belleisle at the top of the table on 28 points but crucially giving them a +13 tie difference against Belleisle's +12.
