42 players are bidding for a place in the final of this years competition, which will be held at Royal Troon on Friday the 15th of August.
Holder Aidan Long (Ayr Belleisle) faces a difficult first round tie away to Steven Stamper (Turnberry).
Two former winners are in the field this year. Craig Hamilton (Ballocmyle) is at home to Andrew Thomson (Routenburn) in the first round while Tommy McInally (Loudoun) has a bye into round two where he faces an away tie against Darren Young (Crosshouse)
