Four more clubs are through to round three of the 2019 handicap club team knockout competition for The President's Putter.
In Muirkirk's match at home to Royal Troon, play had to be suspended late into the tie due to a heavy hail shower making the course temporarily unplayable, but in the event, Royal Troon decided to concede the tie to their hosts, who now go through to host either Ballochmyle or Irvine Ravenspark in round three.
Also through, courtesy of a 3-0 home win over Kilmarnock Barassie, are Ayr Seafield, who now take on Troon Welbeck at the Seafield course in the next round.
Alton were 2 - 1 winners at home to Rowallan Castle in the second round and will have another home tie in round three when they play either NB Parkstone or Ardeer.
Braehead also progressed to the next round, courtesy of a walkover against New Cumnock, and will now be at home to Redburn or Stewarton in the last sixteen.
The remaining ten second round ties are due to be completed by Sunday 26th May.
