Both the Ayrshire Scratch and Ayrshire Handicap League competitions are under way, with a few matches having been played to date.In league B of the Handicap League, Rowallan Castle opened with a narrow 3.5 - 2.5 victory away from home against Moorpark.
In League C, Auchenharvie got off to a good start on Sunday 23rd April with a 4.5 - 1.5 home win over Prestwick St Cuthbert, whilst in League D tam O Shanter also started with a home win, by 3.5 - 2.5 over Annanhill.
In the Scratch Leagues, two Division 4 fixtures have been played with largs Routenburn edging out their visitors Crosshouse by 3.5 - 2.5 whilsy Moorpark fought out a 3 - 3 draw with their visitors from Brunston Castle.
