With the final week of scheduled matches due on Sunday 14th October, the two Ayrshire teams have it all to play for in the West Of Scotland Inter County Leagues.
In the A League, Ayrshire sit on top of the table alongside Stirlingshire at present, although Ayrshire have played one less fixture so far.

Although there are a number of fixtures still outstanding from the opening weeks, due to weather postponements, the Ayrshire team have the destiny of the title in their own hands. With home games remaining against Glasgow at Troon Darley on 14th October and the re arranged fixture against Renfrewshire at Ayr Belleisle on 21st October, two wins would ensure the A League title for Ayrshire.
