Gillian & Billy Pollock (Skelmorlie) beat their visitors Sally Hamilton & Scott Gilchrist (Loudoun) by 3&2 in their quarter final match, and will now be at home in the semi finals to Pauline & Bob Cameron (Belleisle Ladies/Ayr Belleisle) who won their quarter final ties by 1 hole on their visit to play Jean Tannock & Robert Dalziel (Troon Welbeck).
In the other semi final Patricia Harris & Neil Wilson (Ballochmyle) or Neil & Sheila Kennedy (Louodun) will play host to Jean & Ken Capes (Largs) who defeated their hosts Joan McMurdo & William Fleming (Ballochmyle) by a single hole in their quarter final match.
The semi finals in the competition are due to be completed by the 27th of August, with the final scheduled
to take place during Finals day at Prestwick St Cuthbert GC on the 3rd of September.
