Les Knox & Wullie Young (Auchenharvie 88) had a 2&1 victory over their hosts George MacDonald & Peter Clark (Troon St Meddans) in the quarter finals and now have a home tie in the semi finals against Billy Pollock & Sandy Riddell (Skelmorlie) who had a 3&2 home win over Stuart & Sean Thorburn (Ayr Dalmilling) in the last eight.
Paul Giffney &Tom Gilbey (Ardeer) were away to Gerry Bole & Jef Reid (Crosshouse) in the quarter finals and a 5&3 win for the Ardeer pair set up a home tie in the semi finals against George Brown & Gary Gargan (Kilbirnie Place), who beat their visitors Jamie Clark & Robert Hamilton (Wallacetown) by 7&6 in their quarter final tie.
The two semi final ties are due to be completed by the 27th of August, with the final scheduled to take place during Finals day at Prestwick St Cuthbert GC on the 3rd of September.
