AYRSHIRE FOURBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - Three more through to quarter finals

Five more pairs are through to the last eight of the Ayrshire Fourball Championship, as the line up for the quarter finals is completed.

George MacDonald & Peter Clark (Troon St Meddans) beat their visitors Robert Martin & Andrew McMorland (Ayr Carrick) by 5&4 to set up a hole tine in the quarter finals against Les Knox & Wullie Young (Auchenharvie 88) who had a home win over Robin Gemmell & John Tully (Rowallan Castle) to progress.

A single hole victory by Billy Pollock & Sandy Riddell (Skelmorlie) over their visitors Arran Cameron & Mark Hainey (Prestwick St Nicholas)set up a home tie against the Ayr Dalmilling representatives in the quarter finals, whilst a two hole win by Gary Bole & Jeff Reid (Crosshouse) on their visit to play Stephen Bradford & John Arlow (Muirkirk) secured them a home tie in the quarter finals against the pairing from Ardeer. 

George Brown & Gary Gargan (Kilbirnie Place) won by 6&4 against their visitors Dougie Beattie & Roy McCubbin (The Chase) in round three and now play host to the Wallacetown representatives in the last eight.
