Fran & Dave Hadden (Kilmarnock Barassie) booked a home tie in the third round with a 2&1 home win over Lester Magill & Susannah Black (Irvine) in round two.
Also progressing to round three are Bob & Pauline Cameron (Ayr Belleisle/Belleisle Ladies), courtesy of a single hole win at home to William Duffy & Linda Thomson (Kilmarnock Barassie/Prestwick St Nicholas) in round two. The Camerons now have an away tie against Ken & Elizabeth Goodwin (Prestwick/Belleisle Ladies) in the last sixteen.
Jean & Ken Capes (Largs) are also through to round three after a 5&4 home win over Rose M & Alexander Crawford (Ballochmyle) in the second round, and will visit David Tierney & Debbie Watt (Ayr Belleisle/Belleisle ladies) for a place in the quarter finals.
The remaining second round ties are due to be completed by the 21st of May.
