Billy Pollock & sandy Riddell (Skelmorlie) had a 5&4 home win over Steven Gallacher & Stuart Reid (Routenburn) to book a home tie in the last sixteen against the pairings from either Prestwick St Nicholas or Girvan.
Stephen Bradford & John Arlow (Muirkirk) had a single hole victory on their visit to paly Findlay Craig & Donald Wooley (Tam O Shanter) and will now host Gary Bole & Jef Reid (Crosshouse) in round three after the latter had a single hole win over their visitors Liam McBlain & Grant Wilkes (New Cumnock) in round two.
The other pairing recently through to round three is Paul Giffney & Tom Gilbey (Ardeer) who had a 2&1 win on their visit to play Calvin Anderson & Lee Dickson (NB Parkstone). The Ardeer pair now entertain Alistair Devlin & Gary McKay (Ballochmyle) in the last sixteen.
