Mark Anderson & Ian Hogg (Irvine) had a 2 hole home win over Ross Coubrough & Michael Cherry (Glacier) to set up an away tie at either Ayr Dalmilling or Prestwick St Cuthbert in the third round, whilst Alistair Devlin & Gary McKay (Ballochmyle) won by 2 & 1 away to Andrew Calder & John Wilson (Irvine Ravenspark) and now face a trip to either North Beach or Ardeer in round three.
Colin Park & Ian McGill (Abbotsford) will be at home to Jamie Clark & Robert Hamilton (Wallacetown) in the third round.
The Abbotsford pair had a 3&2 away win over Brian Alexander & Franny Donaghy (Braehead) in the second round whilst the Wallacetown duo had a single hole win at home to Norman Clancey & Tom Armstrong (Moorpark) to go through to round three.
The remaining second round fixtures are due to be completed by the 21st of May.
