Title holders Prestwick St Cuthbert were beaten at home in the Ayrshire scratch club team knockout competition for The Gary Bryden Memorial Salver this week, as the line up for the quarter finals was confirmed.The St Cuthbert team were at home to Ayr Dalmilling, but were defeated 2.5 - 0.5 by their visitors, who can now look forward to a home tie in the quarter finals against Rowallan Castle.
Ballochmyle will host Troon Welbeck in the quarter finals after both team won their second round matches 3 - 0. Ballochmyle were away to Troon St Meddans whilst Troon Welbeck were at home to Ardeer.
Caprington are also through to the last eight following a 2-1 home win over Prestwick St Nicholas, and will now visit Loudoun in the quarter finals.
