SCOTTISH BOYS STROKEPLAY - Stuart Robin leads at halfway stage

Stuart Robin (Prestwick St. Nicholas) leads the field by 3 strokes after 36 holes in the 2005 BP Scottish Boys Open Amateur Strokeplay Championship being played at Monifieth.

With an early start in round 2, Robin raced to the turn in 4 under par 32, and although he bogeyed a number of holes on the inward nine, his one under par total of 70 added well to his opening 71, for a 141 total.

With 46 players making the cut on 10 over par, 152, Ayrshire is well represented amongst the qualifiers with 7 players from the county amongst the qualifiers who will play a further 36 holes on Thursday (21st July), to decide the championship.

Alongside Stuart Robin, the Ayrshire qualifiers are :-
