AYRSHIRE GOLF ASSOCIATION - Summer League latest

With three sections completed, there is still much to play for in Sections 1 & 2 of this seasons competition.

In Section 1, Turnberry recorded a 5-1 away win at Moorpark, whilst West Kilbride also beat Moorpark in their final match, by 5.5 - 0.5 at home.

Loudoun travel to Turnberry this week, knowing that a draw would be sufficient to give them a clear advantage and a place in the semi finals.

In Section 2, the latest round of matches saw 4-2 home wins for NACCO and Annanhill over Troon Portland and Kilbirnie respectively. Annahill's win was a decisive one, putting them level with Kilbirnie with one game remaining to be completed.

Annanhill travel to Portland this week, seeking at least a draw to progress to the last four of the competition.

In the play off for a semi final place, Kilmarnock Barassie play host to Irvine Ravenspark this week, with the second leg at Irvine to follow. The winners will meet Troon Welbeck in the last four.
