In Week 1 Ayrshire beat Glasgow 6.5 – 1.5 at Gailes Links
and followed that with a 7 – 1 home win over Stirlinghsire at Irvine Ravenspark
in week 2.
Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire are joint second, Renfrewshire
having won on the opening weekend by 4.5 – 3.5 away to Stirlingahire whilst
Lanarkshire beat Dumbartonshire 6.5 – 1.5in their home fixture at Wishaw, and
in week 2 Renfrewshire and Lanarkshire shared the spoils with a 4 – 4 draw in
their meeting.
The Glasgow Vs Dumbartonshire match, due to have taken
place in week 2, has been postponed and will now take place on the 24th
of October.

In the West of Scotland Inter County Youths League, Dumbartonshire
lead the way with full points from the first two matches, opening with a 4.5 –
3.5 win over Lanarkshire at Hilton Park in week 1 and being awarded the match
in week 2 by Glasgow.
Lanarkshire bounced back from their opening day defeat to
beat their visitors from Renfrewshire by 5 – 3 in week 2, and are tied on 4 points
alongside Renfrewshire and Glasgow, after Glasgow opened with a 5 – 3 away win
over Ayrshire at Largs on week 1, before conceding their second scheduled
match. In the other match on week 2, Stirlingshire and Ayrshire fought out a 4 –
4 draw at Dunblane New
