| The Ayrshire Girls team |
The Ayrshire girls team lost out to Lanarkshire, in their first friendly match of the season, at Ballochmyle Golf Club on Sunday 17th June.
With a course in excellent condition in spite of the very heavy rain the previous day, the home side went down by 4 - 1 with team captain Rachel Irvine recording the only point for Ayrshire, although four of the five games were concluded on the final green.
The results are as follows:- (Ayrshire names first)
Katie McGarva lost to Emily Glencorse by 2 holes
Rachel Irvine beat Kirsten Brown by 1 hole
Alexandra Brown lost to Katie Scott by 3/2
Lauren Gilbert lost to Molly Richmond by 1 hole
Sarah Ramsay lost to Erin Johnston by 1 hole
