The current British Universities champion, Mcdonald playes his first strokeplay qualifying round at Rpyal Troon on Monday, teeing off at 3.41 p.m. and plays his second round at Glasgow Gailes on Tuesday, with an 11.07 a.m. tee time.
The top 64 players after the two strokeplay rounds will progress to the matchplay knockout rounds over Royal Troon during the remainder of next week, with the final scheduled for Saturday 23rd June.
