David Kinnell (Saxone) is the first player through to the last 16 of the 2012 Ayrshire Champion Of Champions competition.Kinnell had a home tie in round 2 against the 2010 finalist Scott McCahill (Brunston Castle) and won through in a tight match at the first extra hole.
Kinnell now faces another home match, against either Nicol Auld (Whiting Bay) or Jim Anderson (Skelmorlie), in his quest for a quarter final spot.
