After a 6 - 3 defeat at Whitecraigs, Kilmarnock (Barassie) bounced back with a 8 - 1 home win over Ranfurly Castle to go to the top of Division 1.

In DIVISION 2, Largs renewed their challenge with successive 8 - 1 wins, away to Erskine and at home to Cowglen, whilst defeat by 5 - 4 for West Kilbride at Erskine was tempered by a 8.5 - 0.5 home win over Eastwood in their latest match which put them at the top of the league.
