SCOTTISH BOYS STROKEPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP - Seven Ayrshire boys bid for title

Seven Ayrshire boys, from Kilmarnock (Barassie), Troon Welbeck and Ayr Belleisle, will provide the Ayrshire challenge at the 2011 Scottish Boys Strokeplay Championship at Nairn Dunbar from 19th to 21st July.

This is the second time that the championship will be played over the Nairn Dunbar course, the last occasion being in 1999.

Scottish boys internationalist Jack McDonald, who is a former winner of the title, and club mate at Kilmarnock (Barassie) Euan Walker are joined in the field by Jack McCluskey of Ayr Belleisle.

Troon Welbeck provide the other four competitors from Ayrshire. Scottish Boys Champion David Wilson and reigning Ayrshire Boys Champion Charlie Macneal are joined by Louis Murray and Callum Beveridge in the four man Troon Welbeck contingent for the championship.
