LOUDOUN GOWF CLUB CHARITY GOLF DAY - £9,800 raised for Ayrshire Cancer Support

Congratulations go to Loudoun Gowf Club Captain Liz Keohone, on a very successful annual Charity Cup day on Sunday 29th May, 2011, in which 60 teams from all over Ayrshire took part. Every hole was sponsored by companies and individuals and a large number of prizes were awarded during the day.

John Beck from Ayrshire Cancer Support  said ‘This is the sixth similar event the club have held for Ayrshire Cancer Support and everyone involved on the day should be very proud of their efforts. A great many people throughout Ayrshire have benefited from their support and generosity.
We are extremley grateful to the members of Loudoun Gowf Club and all the organisations who donated prizes for raising such an amazing amount for us.

We are experiencing a very large increase in the demand for our transport and clinical services and this very generous donation will be will be used to help us meet this demand and for the benefit of cancer patients and their families in Ayrshire.'
