Defending Champions Ballochmyle got off to a winning start this week in the 2008 Ayrshire Junior Golf League Championship competition.
In their opening Section C match, Ballochmyle beat their visitors Ayr Dalmilling by 5 - 1.
In Section A, Troon Welbeck bounced back from their opening match defeat to crush local rivals Troon St. Meddans by 5 - 1 in their second sectional match.
