AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE - Championship update

As the qualifying section matches enter the last four weeks of competition, there is still everything to play for in the four sections as clubs bid for a semi final spot.

In Section A, St. Cuthbert consolidated their position at the top with a 4-2 home win over Routenburn, but now face difficult away matches at Ballochmyle and New Cumnock in their two remaining matches. Present positions in the section are :-

In Section B, Beith moved into second place , courtesty of a 3-3 draw at Barassie. Present positions are :-

In Section C, there is a three way tie on 12 points at the top, although Kilbirnie remain favourites with two games in hand. Welbeck secured a draw at Belleisle, whilst Belleisle and Loudoun both had 4.5 - 1.5 wins at home against St. Nicholas. Present positions in the section are :-
