With the exception of the A team match between Dumbartonshire and Glasgow at Cardross GC, all the fixtures in the West of Scotland A and Youths leagues were abandoned on Sunday 27th September due to waterlogged greens at the various venues, following heavy rain throughout the morning.
The Ayrshire A team started their match against Stirlingshire at Falkirk Tryst GC, as did the Youths team in the corresponding fixture at Troon Darley, but conditions dictated an abandonment before either match had even reached the turn.
The matches are due to be rescheduled to week 6 on Sunday the 25th of October.
In the one fixture to survive the weather Dumbartonshire shared the spoils with Glasgow in a 4-4 draw.
Next week Ayrshire face Lanarkshire, with the A team at home at Rowallan Castle GC and the Youths team paying a visit to Kirkhill GC.
