AYRSHIRE STROKEPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP - Record low ballot for 2023 championship at Western Gailes

The ballot for the field for the 2023 Ayrshire Strokeplay Championship, to be held at Western Gailes Golf Club on Sunday the 30th of April, was set at a new record low, after entries closed on Saturday the 8th of April.

94 entries were received by the closing date with the handicap ballot for the 69 competitors in the 2023 event falling at 0.8 handicap.

All those players balloted out will be placed on a reserve list in order of handicap, and entry fees will be refunded to those players who did not gain a place in the field, after the competition is concluded.

Any competitor who has secured a place and subsequently finds they are unable to take part MUST contact the Area Secretary, Alasdair Malcolm as soon as possible, by email at ayrshire.golf@btinternet.com, or by phone on 07912 026341) to allow a replacement to be arranged from the reserve list.
