In SECTION A, Troon St Meddans and Stewarton lead the way,
though Stewarton have a game in hand. St Meddans drew their latest home match
with Drongan 3 – 3 whilst Stewarton had a second successive home win with a 4 –
2 victory over Loudoun.

Troon Welbeck and a 5.5 – 0.5 home win over Ayr Seafield.
Moorpark had their first win of the campaign at home to Ayr
Seafield where they won by 3.5 – 2.5, whilst, due to a number of late call
offs, Rowallan Castle were awarded a walkover by their hosts in their away
match at Troon Welbeck.

win, separating the first and last in the table at present.
Braeheda had a good 5 – 1 away win over Ailsa Craig to boos
their qualification hpes whilst the other two matches played recently resulted
in 4 – 2 home wins for Prestwick St Cuthbert and Troon Merchants, over Largs
Routenburn and Auchenharvie 88 respectively.

In SECTION D, Ayr Dalmilling and Prestwick St Nicholas are
joint top at present, with the Prestwick club having played a game less.
St Nicholas managed a second successive home win with a
narrow 3.5 – 2.5 win over Annanhill recently, whilst Ayr Dalmilling defeated
their visitors Kilbirnie Place by 5 – 1 in their latest encounter, only for the
score to be reversed in the corresponding match at Kilbirnie, to give the home
side their first points of the season.
