Due to internal issues at the club at present, Beith GC have reluctantly withdrawn from League 3 of the 2011 Ayrshire Summer (Scratch) League.
League 3 will now progress with only 5 teams in 2011.
A decision will be taken in early May as to how the promotion and relegation in leagues 3 to 5 will be conducted, as a consequence of the withdrawal, with a number of options being considered.
between Leagues Leagues 1, 2 and 3 a simple 1 promotion and 1 relegation system will operate, and competing clubs will be advised in due course as to the proposed system in respect of the remaining leagues.
