AYRSHIRE MEN'S FOURBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - 2026 competition reaches semi-finals stage

The Ayrshire Men's Fourball Championship has reached the semi final stage, with all four quarter-final ties being played last week.

In the first semi-final Ian Cameron & Gary Munro (Skelmorlie) will host Iain Rawlings & Matthew Purvis (Malletsheugh).

The Skelmorlie pair had an away win by 2&1 in their quarter final tie against Scott & Ross Chesney (Kilbirnie Place), while the Malletsheugh duo had a two hole home win over Alan Parsons & Thomas Anderson (Glacier) for a place in the last four.

The other semi final sees John Tully & Colin Neil (Rowallan Castle) host Morris Steveley & Derek Harrigan (Largs) for a place in the final.

Both the Rowallan Castle and Largs pairings had away wins in their respective quarter-final ties, beating Kenny Marshall & John Champion (West Kilbride) by 2 holes, and Vince Gilligan & Peter Clark (Troon Portland) by 1 hole, respectively.

The two semi-final ties are due to be played by the 30th of August with the final scheduled to take place during Finals day at Ardeer on Sunday the 6th of September.
