LOMOND PROPERTY AYRSHIRE MEN'S STROKEPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP - Draw for 2025 championship at Troon Lochgreen published

The 2025 Lomond Property sponsored Ayrshire Men's Strokeplay Championship takes place at Troon Lochgreen Golf Corse, by kind permission of Golf South Ayrshire, on Sunday the 27th of April, and the draw for order of play has now been circulated to competitors.

A full field of 75 players will contest the 36 hole scratch event, a counting competition for the World Amateur Golf rankings and the Doc Thom Ayrshire Order of Merit.

Gavin Chesney (Kilbirnie Place), who won the title last year at Largs GC, returns to defend the title.

Competitors should register with Ayrshire Golf Association officials within the Municipal Clubhouse, Harling Drive, Troon, at least fifteen minutes before their published morning tee time.

The Association will also be collecting on the day for the partner charity, Ayrshire cancer Support, and competitors are invited to make cash donations when registering for the event. 

The championship sponsors, Lomond Property, have also committed to donating a sum to the partner charity for each birdie recorded during the championship, which is a very generous and much appreciated gesture.

The players returning the best sixteen aggegate scratch scores will go forward to contest the Lomond Property Ayrshire men's Matchplay Championship at Ballochmyle Golf Cours from Monday the 5th ot Thursday the 8th of May.
