Due to several issues with the final game in Section 3b, which is crucial to the result of who wins the section, the decision was taken at the last Ayrshire Golf Association Executive meeting to allow the game to be played on the 11th of August. This will have the effect of extending the play by dates for the Div 3 play off final to the end of August. and the subsequent div 2/div 3 promotion play off match between the div 3 runners up and the second bottom of div 2 to mid September.
